| INSTALLING YOUR NEW WARGEAR CYCLONE HOUSING AND FLEXI-PADDLES - Text Only
Tools Required: Phillips Head #1 Screwdriver ( preferably a
ratchet style )
Step 1: Gather your parts together, OLD Complete housing, NEW
WarGear Cyclone housing, WarGear Flexi Paddles ( Top, Bottom, Nylon Washer ), Screwdriver
Step 2: Remove Old Paddles, remember to keep the screw and washer
to install later
Step 3: Remove bottom plate screws, be sure to save the screws
Step 4: Keeping the parts together, carefully remove ratchet
tension spring, and the complete Piston / Housing assembly and set aside
Step 5: Using the screwdriver, remove the bolt from the old
cyclone used to secure it to the marker
Step 6: Place that same bolt into the space provided of the NEW
housing
Step 7: Taking the complete ratchet and piston assembly, compress
the spring using the plastic ring, into the piston housing.
Step 8: Ensuring that the spring remains compressed into
the housing, install the ratchet assembly into the new housing.
Step 9: Don't forget to install the Tension spring, be sure
it goes into its proper hole, and not the hole for the screw. When
installing the bottom plate, be sure the spring does not pop over to the
screw hole.
Step 10: Secure the bottom plate onto the new
housing using the old screws. NOTE: THE HOLES ARE NOT THREADED, SO THE
SCREWS WILL THREAD THE HOLE AS THEY ARE INSERTED, IF POSSIBLE USE A RATCHET
SCREWDRIVER TO MAKE THIS STEP FAIRLY EASY
Step 11: Turn over cyclone, and gather the parts needed to
install the Flexi-Paddles ( The screw and washer, top and bottom paddles,
nylon washer )
Step 12: Place the Nylon Washer in FIRST, Followed by the
bottom / SMALLER part of the Flexi-Paddles ( Be sure that the "teeth" are
facing UP ). Finally install the top / LARGER part of the paddles, with the
curved paddles facing up. Be sure that the ratchet top is flush with the top
of the paddles, and that the paddles are fully locked together
Step 13: Secure the Paddles to the ratchet using the screw and
washer removed from the original Cyclone. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN
Step 14: With cyclone complete, attach it back onto your Marker,
and install your Hopper or Tac Cap to complete!!!
